Candy Darim Yun is an Inter/national Solidarity manager in Korean Sexual-minority Culture and Rights Center. She started her movement from the full-time activist of Sexual minority committee of Democratic Labor’s Party at 2006. After that, she co-founded and worked at the “Korean Transgender Activist Group Jirung-e” for 5 years which was the first trans rights group in Korea.
Yun worked aggressively with the agreement of necessity in Trans rights movement as a project manager in “Transgender patchwork project” and cofounded “Salim Health Cooperative”. Currently, she is working for the hosting first Pride house in Asia which is the welcoming venue for LGBT athletes who visits the country when the global sports events happen.”
