Activist and Human Rights Advocate for Trans women in Guatemala since 2005. Founder and Executive Director at Trans Multicultural Network of Guatemala Women REDMMUTRANS, since 2011. Together with organized trans companions of the Trans Women's Multicultural Network Urban and rural volunteers, she has helped give visibility to and informed about Trans women at the national government level, as well as representing REDMMUTRANS both nationally and internationally which has spoken about this communities varying realities, contexts and needs.
She has made strategic alliances with organizations of key populations in order to improve the quality of life for trans community, and has carried out actions for the visibility and advocacy to approve the strategy of comprehensive and differentiated healthcare for transgender people, political incidence for a law of gender identity.
