PRIDE RADAR

Monday, June 26th. 15:00-16:30

ROOM D

Pride events are held throughout the year and nearly everywhere in the world. This workshop, based on the Pride Radar Report 2017, focuses on how the Pride movement is in uenced by the countries in which such celebrations and protests are held — and by countries that prohibit them. In showcasing several examples of how Prides worldwide challenge the sexual and gender construct, Pride Radar aims to develop strategies to defend Human Rights where state limitations are found. Understanding how states enforce constructs of sexuality and gender will increase the e ciency and e ectiveness of attempts to challenge the borders of diversity.
